We are Augustine + Matter Candle Studio. Our mission is simple: we create quality clean burning candles that fill a room with subtle, sophisticated fragrances that are meant to inspire the senses, calm the mind and invigorate the spirit.

Our candles are made of 100% American grown soy wax, giving you an eco friendly clean burning product. Why soy? Soy burns more slowly. Our candles will burn from 10 hours to over 100 hours depending on the size. Soy burns clean, eliminating soot or black smoke. Soy is also vegan and Biodegradable, meaning you won't have to feel guilty about burning a candle that's harmful to the planet.

Our wicks are lead and zinc free cotton wicks with paper threads, each tested for optimal burn, melt pool and fragrance throw.

Our fragrance oils are not only Phthalate free, but are without ingredients found on the Prop 65 list, meaning you won't have to worry about what's being released into the air while burning your candle.
